The Corporate Information security department protects information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification or destruction at the organization. The CIS Portal is Corporate Information Security’s intranet website which is supported by the web governance application Archer SmartSuite. It is the key data repository and communication vehicle for CIS. It is also heavily leveraged to automate many of the department’s programs, processes and procedures and is being expanded for use outside of CIS.
Position Summary:
This role is primarily responsible for the end to end daily management, maintenance and enhancement of the CIS Portal from both an administrative/ operational and technical perspective.
Technical aspects of the position include: oversight of the management of production servers as well as management and maintenance of the development, QA and backup servers; implementation of application upgrades and patches, coordination and execution of testing and promotion to production of new product releases. Development of new modules and/or enhancements to existing modules will also be required including the coordination of testing and promotion to production of enhancement to existing modules and/or new modules.
Administrative/ operational responsibilities include but are not limited to: daily administration of general user access to the CIS Portal, daily maintenance and reporting of data maintained on the Portal, working with internal customers to develop new applications and/or enhancements requirements, creating and maintaining administrative Portal management, internal technical, and end-user documentation and developing and delivering training related to the CIS Portal.
The CIS Sr.Portal Administrator will work directly with professionals from CIS, the Infrastructure and ADM organizations, as well as with Portal vendor managing work efforts that require supplemental administrative or technical support.
Sr.Portal Administrator will be Subject Matter Expert in windows technology and will be able to assess security vulnerabilities for Microsoft/Citrix platforms.
Principal Responsibilities:
Web application management, including configuration of the Archer tool functionality, server farm management and maintenance, performance monitoring and management, testing and implementation of product upgrades, fixes and new user requirement/ enhancements
Requirements gathering, documentation, research and solution proposal, implantation of solution or identifying needs for assistance from web application vendor and management of vendor solution development and delivery
Ensure customer satisfaction with timely completion of project activities, meeting established delivery dates
Perform overall application administrative responsibilities including ACL maintenance, various daily data postings updates, and general reporting
Provide primary support for Policy and Awareness and Training portal solutions
Develop and deliver and user training and awareness courses
Administer access and expand the department’s use of the Archer product and rollout the use of the product across the enterprise
Identify and implement solutions for continuous improvement for enhance user experience
Provide consulting support to department staff, as well as across the enterprise, the use of the Archer product
Evaluate windows network architecture and hardware/software configurations for security vulnerabilities.
Participate in the review and analysis of internal projects and external connectivity issues that may have an impact on security
Ensure effectiveness of security controls for Windows, Active Directory, Citrix security etc.
Perform vulnerabilities assessments to identify both architectural and platform-specific vulnerabilities
Review security audits and bring awareness to security problems and issues; improve security settings of WinTel including Citrix devices, create baseline configuration standards for various platforms.
Create Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for appropriate processes.
Participate in organization’s Threat & Vulnerability Assessment process.
Experience:
The ideal candidate for this role will have 3 years as an Archer professional and overall 6 years of information security experience. Must have experience working across organizations in a cross-functional way to yield effective results.
