General Responsibilities

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.  Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.  Exhibits functional expertise, works on complex problems requiring a high level of ingenuity and creativity gained through years of practical experience.  Frequently contributes to the development of new principles, theories and methods.  Often self initiated, work is usually performed independently with minimal direction from manager. May provide technical leadership to less experienced professional staff, as either a generalist or specialist within area of expertise.  Typically requires 6 years related experience with a BS; 4-6 years experience with an MS.

Major Duties & Functions

This position is responsible for providing information and network security services to government and commercial enterprise customers. This individual will provide technical and project leadership on a variety of projects and tasks. The responsibilities of this position include a high degree of technical expertise to deliver on the project work, performing different forms of business development to sell security consulting services and effectively interacting with customers.

Qualifications You Must Have

-This individual must have a good degree of knowledge in IT, IP networks and web-based applications areas and the application of logical security to address risks.
-Hands-on security testing experience for assessing risks and identifying vulnerabilities in communications networks, operating systems, and applications is required.

Additional Qualifications

***The candidate should have a government clearance or be able to obtain one.***

-A Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) or other types of security certifications are preferred.
