Senior Security Analyst - Pittsburgh, PA

Compensation:  $75-$85K base  plus  incentives

My client is a regional financial services / lending organization serving clients in three states.  They are searching for someone to join a small but versatile security team.  Responsibilities range from project consulting to user account management to security infrastructure management to assessment.

This person:

Supports the efficient and effective implementation and maintenance of security for the Bank's information assets and resources.

Evaluates, installs and maintains security software on a variety of platforms; actively promotes the advancement of sound security policies and procedures.

Provides customer support for SPAM, Help Desk tickets and account requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prefer at least one of the following Professional Certifications:  CISSP, SANS GIAC, Cisco or Microsoft security.
• 6 years of Information Technology experience, with 2 plus years in Information Security related role.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with administering security in Windows Active Directory Security.
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing and administering Spam filtering system.  Experience with Tumbleweed Mailgate preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of securing and administering security on multiple operating systems: Solaris, Windows & AIX
• Demonstrated knowledge of host-based and/or network-based Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Experience with Intruder Alert, Cisco Security Agent & Juniper IDP preferred.
• At least two years hands-on experience with firewall administration.  Experience with Check Point firewalls preferred.
• Must be able to trouble shoot advanced technical issues and follow through to resolution.
• Knowledge of industry best practices as relates to IT Security
