Base Compensation $110-$120K plus relocation assistance

My client is a multinational Fortune 150 corporation that provides engineering services and innovative solutions for customers in a wide range of industrial, commercial, and consumer markets.

This is an excellent opportunity due to the fact that my client is in the process of building and refining their global security program. As a result, the security staff is growing, there are numerous projects in the works and there are opportunities to improve existing functions.

This position reports to the CISO who is primarily engaged with developing the overall security strategy, communicating it to stakeholders and driving support. The Manager, Information Security Operations is responsible for supporting the CISO by managing the company's security infrastructure and operations environment as well as driving and executing critical projects.

Role Summary:

Responsible for all Information Security Operations and managing a team (10-20 )

Assist Chief Information Security Officer in managing Information Security Program

Participate and support the development of security program consisting of ISO 11799 Framework

Manage Information Security Projects to implement technologies and processes for protection, detection and response.

Work with Business to help develop security strategies and controls to reduce risk and enable the business.

Principal Functional Responsibilities:

Manage Information Security Staff and coordinate activates of the Security Council.

Establishes an Information Security Dashboard with risk metrics to provide weekly reports on posture

Partner with network, software, and data center operations groups to provide end to end security prevention, detection, and response.

Monitor entire network of 100,000 nodes for security incidents

Manage Incident Response Team

Work with Operations to develop procedures and process for Security Administration

Manage Vulnerability Management and remediation efforts

Oversee computer forensic investigations to ensure confidentiality is maintained, as well as, such activities are responsive to Corporate Security and Legal Department direction and needs.

Education

Bachelors Degree with strong work experience in Information Security

Certifications are desired, but not required.
